Our responsibility for the environment

Sustainability is a natural part of us, our company and our business concept.

In our sustainability work, we work with our impact on our entire environment.

As early as 2001, the Branäs Group switched to fossil-free electricity from renewable sources. Since then, we have taken many steps forward, but we see it as a continuous journey and are always looking for the next exciting step.

Branäsgruppen

Within the Branäs Group, we always have a sustainability perspective when we design and develop our facilities. It all started with the expansion in Branäs where we realized the importance of accommodation that is ski in - ski out. Not using the car on vacation is not only relaxing and economical but also sustainable.
We have since taken the mindset with all service functions within walking / skiing distance to Kungsberget, Storstenhöjden, Tolvmannabacken, Ulricehamn Ski Center and Vallåsen.
Due to our size, we can make investments that would not have been financially sustainable at our smaller facilities.

This season, we are investing heavily throughout the Group in becoming more environmentally friendly. Today we have the majority of our meetings via digital meeting places and only use flights when there are no other alternatives. The whole group of course has a collective agreement and we have zero tolerance for bullying and discrimination.

Ulricehamn Ski Center

The ski school slope with associated lift has been built in connection with the rest of the children's area, with a flatter and smoother slope, it will be a welcome addition to the rest of the children's slope, both in terms of capacity and ride! Our fine ski school gets even greater opportunities to train future skiers. In the ski school, we take care of everything from beginners to advanced skiers who want to develop their technology. Both children and adults are welcome to experience the joy of developing their skiing and snowboarding.

In our large and rational ski rental, long queues are a rare phenomenon. Plenty of fresh equipment is available for rent and ski passes are purchased directly at the rental counters. In the ski rental you can also book and pay for your ski school. You also turn to the ski shop to service your ski equipment.

The restaurant is newly extended, refreshed and equipped with large panoramic windows from floor to ridge.

Ulricehamn Ski Center belongs to the Branäs Group, Sweden's largest privately owned ski resort company. The group includes Branäs, Kungsberget, Vallåsen, Storstenshöjden and Tolvmannabacken.
